Tuition

A schedule of the upcoming year’s fees and tuition rates is usually available in the officeby the middle of February. Northern Dutchess reserves the right to change the types and amounts of charges as necessary. Tuition is set annually by the School Board to be low enough that most families can afford it, but high enough to responsibly meet the expenses of the school. Small, annual increases are fair and necessary to meet rising expenses of budgets and employee compensation.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON REFUNDS: No tuition or fees paid are refundable for any reason during the year. Please do not request refunds of any amount if your child withdraws or is dismissed for any reason. The only exception to this rule is if a family does not receive adequate tuition assistance to enroll in September. In this case, the Enrollment Fee portion ($250 or $300), only, is refundable. Please take this into consideration when choosing tuition payment options.

Moral training is arguably the central task of education- more central even than the three R's. Nothing more powerfully shapes a child's life than his values, his beliefs, his sense of right and wrong.
