What We Believe
Northern Dutchess Christian School is a ministry of the Northern Dutchess Bible Church, an independent, non-denominational, evangelical, Protestant congregation. Each full-time teacher and staff member is a practicing Christian in this tradition with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Our families and students come from a variety of related traditions and are able to sign either one of the following statements:
- We believe in and agree with the Statement of Faith, and acknowledge and agree that all courses at Northern Dutchess will be taught based on its Statement of Faith, with Biblical truth as the foundation of all true learning.
- We acknowledge and agree with our child being taught all courses at Northern Dutchess based on its Statement of Faith, with Biblical truth as the foundation of all true learning.
Statement of Faith
- We believe the Bibleto be the inspired, infallible and authoritative word of God.

- We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory.
- We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful men, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely necessary.
- We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
- We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
- We believe that heaven and hell are literal places.
- We believe in the Spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
